#ExtrasForExperts... #StrategicAlchemy ... 5 Before 5 & Your Top 3....

Morning,

I wanted to share a Top Tip.. an #ExtrasForExperts idea.. it's something that I've seen works when I work it.. and it's something that's easy to do.. (and like the best things.. easy not to do.).

You have have your version of this, and I'd ask you to give it a go.. for at least 7 days and ideally 30 days and see what opens up..

So there are two parts

5 Before 5..

This is about choosing to contact 5 people before 5pm.. each day. This seems simple.. but if you actually have 5 meangingful conversations each day. They take time, not everyone is instantly available. This is also different from the sales energy of getting 10 messages out before 10am.. This is can you have 5 real connection conversations before 5pm.

You maybe going this is easy.. great.

It's a natural thing that can happen.

Sometimes, you can find yourself with a ... mmm.. I'm not sure who I really do want to connect with today? This is paradoxically all the more common when you are connected to hundreds of great people and thousands of potential prospects and joint venture partners.

So..

a) Choose / Decide.. if you will you play for this?

b) Make a list.. ideally pen and paper, or in excel / google sheets.

c) Go for it.. and see what happens.

P.S.

Remember this is something to repeat..

And..

Notice: If you make the goal or not, and what happens internally for you. Notice what happens in the conversations and the precession / momentum that happens .. as this becomes a core behaviour

There's also the 5 for 5 challenge.. => https://thefiveconnections.com/fiveforfive/

Your Top 3

This is simpler .. seemingly and yet more profound.

What are your top 3 priorities for today.

Don't do this or view this as a to do list.

Genuinely pause.. which may not be in the first 30 minutes when you wake up, depending on your day to day reality.

Consider.. and really ground and document.. what are your top 3 priorities for today?

then ideally you schedule in time to move them forward (and optimally get them "complete")..

Again.. this is simple to do and simple not to do.

This one exercise and approach, repeated over a 30 days and beyond.. can be life and business changing.

PauseStopReset.com/journal .. was designed to support this approach.

Yes you can do it in your head, but when you document and review.. different results get produced, especially when you start working with and as a team.

So.. which of these resonates most ?

Which are you already doing or aware of and not doing?

What's your "plussing"? ..

Let me know which you're taking on, and any questions

and I'm excited to hear how you get on..

To your success,

Simon

Ps.

I really do believe that together we thrive, and that's all the more likely when we get clear on our personal and collective priorities.. and really connect with real people.

Together We Thrive.

This morning, I had a call from someone I’ve known for a long time. He’s busy. Business, family, life. So when he finds the time to call, it always brings a smile. Often we talk while he’s driving. Maybe you do this too. There’s something about being in the car, on the way to a client or a meeting, that creates a rare window. Half an hour. An hour. Sometimes longer. Time to pause. Think. Reconnect. Because of where he is in the world, the signal regularly disappears. We’ll be halfway through...

A quick video for you based on what I learnt after the fuse went in my fan.. (During the heatwave..) Something simple, cheap and easy to replace can be easily overlooked. What fuses do you need to check on in your life and business?

Inspired by seeing my old friend Sean Stephenson on video he recorded many years ago.. still struck me and reminded of something quite profound. There were other insights from Jim Kwik, Vishen Lakhiani, Brendon Burchard, Philip McKernan , Marie Forleo , Lewis Howes and so many more.Sometimes the human side of the experts shines through.. people I've known in some cases for decades like Eric Edmeades , Marisa Peer, Daniel Priestley, Simon Alexander Ong and others, who in moments that matter...
